alrighty so. one of my bestest is having a surprise bday party thrown for her tomorrow. So you know what that means right?!... I can't stroll up in the party looking like a escaped from somewhere with wild hair. So I had to wash my joint again. Oh the horror. LOL
My twist, that I painfully did last sunday actually lasted pretty good. well not really. but they totally would have lasted good had I not gone to dance class on monday. Ain't that a B*tch, I still gotta worry about my damn hair after dance! But the bright side was that my hair still looked decent. It just was totally different style. A bit more Kinky e.g. thick, dry and kinda tough. But totally still rockable.
But tomorrow... yes it should be all about my gurl. But uhhh after we yell surprise, yam some food, tek a whine and eat some cake, someone is bound to notice that I chopped my hair off and it ain't straight no more :-) so I gotta make it look cute.
I did something a little dangerous though. I tried a new product. So instead of the 'clear ice' I tried 'miss jessies curling pudding' the purple stuff. It was $7 @ Rickies for this tiny a$$ sample and I've used about half of it tonight. So we'll see what it does and determine if I should spring for the big jar at a whopping $38+tax. So far so good. It took half the time to twist. So that's a good start. And it feels super soft. The only draw back with this one is that you have to sit under the dryer.
It's 2:20am and i'm sitting on my livingroom floor apologizing in my head to my neighbors. 'cause I know someone, somewhere in this building can hear this ish. sorry. but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
I need to figure out what plan B is if this looks crazy tomorrow. I think I really should go ahead and invest in one, just one, good wig!
